ROSSCLAIR acted as construction managers during this project. Structural and architectural modifications were made to accommodate the intended use of space as a Brewery. Mechanical and electrical upgrades were done to house brewing equipment. ROSSCLAIR also built a small retail area, tasting area, offices and boardroom.
The scope of work included removing existing underground storage tanks (UST) as well as all contaminated soil similar to the work that needs to be done at 440 Birchmount. The UST and contaminated soil were excavated and replaced with clean soil. Soil and other affected materials were disposed of off-site.
ROSSCLAIR was fully aware with the remediation work and the hazards associated with the environmental condition of the property. With this knowledge ROSSCLAIR was able to implement appropriate measures for the protection of its employees, subtrades and the public health and safety.
